a friend asked me to make a comment on the race of the heroine in Cohelo’s book.
He asked me to write it like I belonged to that race too and not as an outsider.
I find it hard to relate to the feelings of people who wish to belong nowhere but themselves…
The Roma are a tribe who has survived holding its style unique.
Some blame the goverments for not making it easy for them to mix with the rest.
I am not that sure they even want to mix .I cannot talk on anyone’s behalf though…
They seem free and alert and happy.I believe they are.
On the other hand I do want to be a part of the society I’m living in.I do want to belong.To my country,to my home,to my man. I like travelling a lot.I like meeting new places and different people.But I feel happy ,free and complete when at home and in the arms of the man I’ve chosen to belong to.(whenever this wil happen anyway:-) I would appreciate your thoughts on the subject of freedom

anyone read any good books?

I read the latest of Paulo Cohelo ”the with of Portobello”or something like that:-)I read it in greek ,not sure about the title in english.
I found its metaphysics quite interesting,the concept of a “female God” is not appealing to me,our society is patriarchic anyway,but I appewciated the fact that the heroine worshipped Jesus Christ.
I thought Cohelo’s directions for finding serenity,balance and spiritual freedom inspiring and the storie’s unpredictable end was clever also

I would love to listen to everybody’s oppinion about this book,another or anything at all.
